CIRCULAR LOGIC
A Solo Exhibition of Works by Emily Nomer

Gallery 40 is pleased to present Circular Logic, a solo exhibition by Emily Nomer opening on October 17, 2026 and continuing through November 29. The exhibition brings together a new body of patterned artworks that explore repetition, rhythm, and the intricate systems that shape both natural and human-made environments.

Through meticulously constructed compositions, Circular Logic investigates the relationship between order and complexity. Repeating motifs, geometric structures, and evolving patterns serve as visual metaphors for cycles of thought, behavior, and connection. The works invite viewers to consider how meaning emerges through repetition and how seemingly simple forms can generate unexpected depth and movement.

Drawing inspiration from architecture, textiles, and organic growth systems, Emily creates immersive visual fields that oscillate between precision and intuition. Each piece functions as both a self-contained structure and part of a larger conversation about interconnectedness, perception, and the ways we navigate recurring patterns in daily life.

Through layered surfaces, intricate mark-making, and dynamic visual rhythms, the artworks encourage prolonged looking and contemplation.

 

An opening reception will be held on Saturday October 17, 5-7pm. The artist will be present.
