Our guest author for the month is D.B.Brown

David Harvey "DB" Brown, born in Pittsburgh and raised in Pasadena, California, holds a BA in English Literature from Pomona College, an MA from Colgate University, and a PhD from Cornell University. DB retired from Vassar College after working there for thirty-eight years, the last twenty-four as Dean of Students. He does family history research (www.storiesinyourtree.com); has led Elderhostel/ Road Scholar tours to Scandinavia, Iceland, and the United Kingdom; hosts a folk/ Americana radio podcast, The Hudson Valley Rag Shop; and regularly performs with a folk group, the Roundabout Ramblers. DB lives in Poughkeepsie, New York.
