About the event
When grief, sadness, sorrow or anger stay with us as a constant our emotions can become stuck or blocked. Â You may have stopped speaking up for yourself and have become overly sensitive, crying easily at every little thing, leaving us feeling depressed, lethargic and fearful, The smallest confrontation may trigger headaches and we retreat to an isolated area or retreat within, shutting out the world and our loved ones. Or we may be overreacting to any little thing and find ourself snapping at people, or abrupting and lashing out at others for no good reason. There is no allotted time for grief, sadness, sorrow or anger when we experience the loss of a loved one. But when we are no longer our self and cannot function with daily activities and tasks, we have a problem needing to be addressed. Letters to the deceased can give you safe space to get to those stuck or blocked feelings, so you can find a more peaceful state within. When emotions do not move, life slows down and for some people to a grinding halt. In remembrance of those who have departed the earthly plane, write your letter and communicate those feelings, so you can begin your healing process that may have left you in a rut or limbo. Â After you have written your letter which is personal and private to you, we will place the letters into a fire for purification and renewal.
